Rusty's incredible recovery

One of our most inspiring cases is Rusty, a lizard we rescued who was severely underweight and in a critical state. His previous owner lacked experience, keeping him in a shoebox-sized vivarium without proper heat, substrate, or food. Rusty arrived at our charity dehydrated and gravely ill.

Over four months, we diligently nursed Rusty back to health. He was slowly fed, rehydrated, and treated for severe skin rot. Initially, Rusty was wary of people, but with consistent care and affection, he formed an incredible bond with our team. He slowly regained his vibrant red colour and is now a healthy, happy lizard thriving within our charity's care. His transformation is a testament to the love and dedication we provide.
